Delivery and risk
The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation. Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments. You may cancel your entire order with us if subsequent instalments forming part of your order are not delivered by us. We do not ship outside UK.
We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.
We shall have no liability (including liability for negligence) for the acts or omissions of telecommunications service providers or for failures of, or faults in their networks and equipment.

There are four ways to order and pay.

3. Deposit – Pay half now and pay half later
You can use option to split your payment into half. You will then be asked to pay half of product price upfront, the remaining balance must be paid before delivery date. To use this option please type in the word DEPOSIT into a Vaucher Box at the checkout.
You can pay by; Visa, MasterCard, Electron, Delta, Switch, Solo cards or your existing PayPal account. To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted using SSL technology. The prices displayed on our website are in £GBP British pound Sterling.
Making a purchase couldn’t be easier.
1. Click on the item(s) you wish to buy and then place them into your basket.
2. After you have made your selections, you will be asked for the details of both yourself and the recipient.
3. Once these details are submitted you will be asked to choose one of the delivery options and to then proceed with your payment.

All differences in delivery charges to above postcodes need to be paid via PayPal. Within 48h from the date of your order we will send you an invoice for outstanding amount to pay no later than 24h after you receive it.
For postcodes other then listed above requiring shipment outside of the UK Mainland, orders will not be processed. We will contact you to confirm cancellation of order and will refund your money.
We will deliver you goods up to 6 weeks after we will receive your payment (please see individual product pages for delivery details or postcodes availability). However, during busy periods, or deliveries to rural and distant areas may take a little longer.
Please ensure your shipping address and mobile number is correct, as we take no responsibility for deliverable orders due to incorrect addresses or contact numbers.
When your item is ready to collect by courier from our warehouse we will send you a confirmation email. Next the courier company will call you to make a delivery arrangement.
Your order will be delivered by a professional Courier Company. Delivery days are Monday to Sunday between 6am and 10pm. Delivery is not available on public holidays. These orders will be delivered on the next working day. Please note, we can not guarantee delivery times but the courier will inform you if the expected delivery time changes.
We offer two types of delivery service and that depends on your postcode:
Standard Delivery (1 man):

1 man can assist to place the furniture in to the entrance of the property at entirely the customers responsibility. Courier will ask you to sign for delivery of your goods.
Premium Delivery: Mainland UK
On the day of delivery the Courier Team will unpack your furniture, install it in the room of your choice (on the ground floor only) and remove all packing materials from your home and recycle wherever possible. To make sure you are completely satisfied with your furniture the Courier Team will ask you to sign for your furniture after it has been installed.
Please ensure all access points are clear of obstacles. If there are steps leading to your room, flat or apartment an additional handling fee will apply. The fee is £10 per floor to a maximum of £30. This should be paid to the driver at the point of delivery.
Please note we do not accept responsibility if the furniture ordered will not fit through doorways or becomes stuck in narrow areas within your property. It is the customer’s responsibility to measure all spaces before placing an order.
Please note that couriers are not taking responsibility for any damages made during carrying your furniture where is no clear access in to your premises.

Stock orders: 24 hours from a date of your purchase we will contact you by phone to determine date and time of your pick up.
Orders with a waiting time: as soon as your item arrives to our warehouse we will contact you to let you know that your order is ready to pick up.
Please note that in case of any complaints your furniture must be returned to our warehouse on your own cost to begin warranty procedures.
Our range of furniture online includes a one year warranty against any manufacturing defect to upholstery, springs and framework. The warranty starts from the date of receiving the goods.
All our products are made to your specification and are not sold from stock unless clearly identified as “stock furniture”. As a furniture is made-to-order and produced precisely to your requirements, no cancellation, refunds or exchanges can be made unless your instructions have not been carried out, or the item is found to be faulty.
Stock furniture orders
If within 7 days will inform us that you have changed your mind and want to cancel your order, we will do full refund including P&P costs. Refunds will be made within 5 - 7 working days of notification, via the same method that was originally used for the transaction. A non-refundable deposit of 20% will be payable if the order is cancelled after 7 days. This charge will be made to your account. Your statutory rights are not affected.

As a furniture is made-to-order and produced precisely to your requirements, no returns or exchanges can be made unless your instructions have not been carried out, or the item is found to be faulty. No refunds or exchanges can be given on either sample pots or full size pots of paint unless there is a manufacturing defect, or the goods are not as ordered.
Returns – Non Faulty Goods
If you wish to return your order of stock furniture products within 7 working days time period, you are entitled to do so, but must return the products to us in accordance with our instructions and at your own cost. You may return your item for a full refund (excluding P&P costs). Please call the customer help line and advise a member of our team that you wish to return the product . Please note that the item must be returned to us in the condition that it was sent. If an item is not returned to us in the original condition then we reserve the right not to issue a full refund.
Under the terms of the distance selling directive you as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, a charge will be made to repair the product to its original condition. Please be aware that where repair is not economically viable no refund will be made. Your legal rights are not affected.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% per stock furniture order will be payable if the order is returned after 7 days period. This charge will be made to your account. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Returns – Faulty Goods
If, after the goods have been fitted and you find a fault we reserve the right to request that the following steps are complied with:
Upon confirmation from the engineer that there is fault, and the goods do not conform to the contract, we shall at our option repair or replace such goods (or the defective part) or refund the price of such goods, whichever is considered to be economically viable by us.
SofaBed House shall not be liable for the goods if you continue to use the goods after giving such notice to us; or alter or repair the goods without the written consent of us.
To resolve your problem with regard to Faulty products please contact one of our helpful and friendly customer service team who will be happy to resolve your problem as quickly and efficiently as possible with the minimum disruption possible.
Refunds will be made within 5 - 7 working days of notification or after we receive a furniture if returned, via the same method that was whichever method was originally used for the transaction.

Terms And Conditions Of Sale
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for them.
We reserve the right to charge any delivery costs from the customer, if an item is returned to us due to failed delivery after delivery arrangements have been communicated to you.
We will not refund goods that are delayed in transit due to any reason, including industrial action by third parties.
